Use Microsoft Teams “Call Me” Feature to Join a Conference Call

I wanted to continue sharing with you quick tips on how to better use Microsoft Teams. Today, we will be learning about the “call me” feature.

In Microsoft Teams, the “Call me” feature gives users a way to join the audio portion of a meeting by phone. This is handy in scenarios when using a computer for audio might not be possible. For instance, in situations where the computer’s audio is not working. Users will get the audio portion of the meeting through their cell phone or land line and the content/video portion of the meeting through their computer, without having to dial the number of the meeting or meeting ID.

To join a meeting by using the “Call me” feature. Click Join to join a meeting, and then click Phone audio on the Choose your audio and video settings screen.

On the Use phone for audio screen, the user enters their phone number, and then clicks Call me. The meeting automatically calls the user and joins them to the meeting.

Hope you enjoy this feature as much as I do!.
